Anne Wood

Position: Quality Assurance

Anne's role is evolving as the company grows. She organised Spiral's recent move into our new offices. She also does the Quality Assurance checks on new sites.

Fortunately Anne, who describes herself as "a bit of a jack of all trades at present" is a woman of many talents! Anne applies her skills to whatever slips past the rest of us and we are continually finding new talents she has.

Personal Qualities

Fairness, Helpfulness, Honesty, Persistence, Resourcefulness. Focus on the goal. A strong sense of justice, tempered by a sense of humour.

Anne has exacting standards coupled with well developed research and editing skills which she applies to the quality assurance process on our projects. Her background in research and information management includes a double major Bachelor of Arts degree and a post-graduate Diploma of Librarianship from Victoria University. Her experience also covers research, particularly in legal, commercial and business sectors.

Anne has a strong work ethic and is still identifying more skills she can bring to her work with Spiral. A person who loves people, Anne looks forward to working directly with Spiral clients as the business grows.

More About Anne

She has her own garden maintenance business and makes mosaics on commission. Previously she has been deputy head of reference in a public library & Information Manager / Librarian for a large law firm. She has also worked in Market Research, and been a library consultant.

For relaxation, Anne enjoys walking by the sea or on the local bush tracks. She also goes to a gym. She is involved in a range of creative activities: mosaics, painting, gardening, and stitching with a group of friends.
