Michelle Bolger

Position: Web Developer, Account Manager

Michelle’s role is to create working websites for Spiral clients. Much of Michelle's time is spent working with HTML (the internet ‘code’) to construct pages that look, feel and work the way our clients want them to. She has a strong sense of where to place visual elements to create balance and impact.

Michelle pays special attention to all details on a site, from graphics to text. A lateral thinker, she uses her unique personal qualities to get those websites looking the way we want them. She works wonders with images, using programs like Fireworks to ‘tweak’ them so they will load quickly and still retain their original clarity.

Michelle enjoys the technically challenging work she does for Spiral clients. She finds the interesting variety of people and state-of-the-art projects particularly rewarding. Her can-do attitude ensures that anything that can be done will be done.

More About Michelle

After graduating from Victoria University with a degree in Computer Science, Michelle worked for BP developing market research surveys amongst other things.

She has sold personal computers, developed and run training courses as a systems engineer for BusinessWorld and computerised accounting systems for stock market company Telerate. She spent eight years as an Account Systems Engineer for IBM, where she twice earned a place in the “100% Club”.

On top of this business background Michelle is a designer of logos and award winning street banners.

For relaxation she enjoys photography, reading, and swimming.
